Dr. Maryanne Giuliante is a triple board-certified nurse practitioner with thirty years of clinical experience. Over these three decades, Dr. Giuliante has worked in world-class healthcare organizations such as Columbia Presbyterian, New York University, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She has a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Rutgers University and has degrees as both an Adult and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Giuliante is also a college professor at world class universities, teaching nurse practitioners getting Masters and Doctorate degrees, as well as undergraduate students seeking to become nurses. Dr. Giuliante has been injecting for thirty years, and is certified by the American Academy of Facial Aesthetics.

NEUROMODULATOR TREATMENT (like BOTOX®) VS.DERMAL FILLERS?
Although both are injectable treatments that help you look more refreshed, neuromodulators and dermal fillers work in very different ways.
Neuromodulators relax the muscles that cause wrinkles from repeated facial expressions like smiling, frowning, or squinting. They are most effective for dynamic wrinkles—the lines that appear when your face is moving, such as forehead lines, frown lines between the eyebrows, and crow's feet around the eyes. By reducing muscle movement, these lines become softer, and new wrinkles are less likely to form.
Dermal fillers, on the other hand, do not relax muscles. Instead, they restore lost volume and enhance facial contours. "Water Bottle" Lines
Vertical lip lines, often called "smoker's lines" or "lip lines," develop over time from repeated lip movements such as puckering, drinking through a straw, and everyday facial expressions. Despite the name, these lines are common in both smokers and non-smokers.
A small amount of products such as BOTOX® can be used to relax the muscles around the mouth, helping to soften the appearance of these fine lines. Treatment may also help reduce lipstick feathering or "bleeding" into the lines, creating a smoother lip contour.

Masseter
