  • Does Dr. Giuliante use brand-name Botox?
No, and for good reason! After a significant amount of research, Dr. Giuliante has chosen Xeomin, rather than botox. Brand name Botox has two disadvantages, making Xeomin a superior product. First, brand name Botox contains an additional protein, which can cause allergic reactions (although rare). Xeomin does not contain this protein, and therefore is known as "organic Botox" or "naked Botox". Second, due to the aforementioned protein, the body can build up a resistance to Botox. This causes the body to create antibodies, which means that, over time, you may require a higher dose of Botox to achieve the same result. Xeomin does not create antibodies. Therefore, the dose of Xeomin that you initially need will not be required to increase, unless you choose to achieve a different result.
